A Glimpse into Their History

Their educational journey commenced in 1999 under the name Ellenbrook Catholic Primary School, with an initial enrollment of 45 students spanning Kindergarten to Year 2. The official Blessing and Opening of the school took place on September 14, 1999, coinciding with the Feast of the Holy Cross. Recognizing the deep devotion of St. Helena to the Holy Cross, Archbishop Hickey, then Archbishop of Perth, aptly chose her as the patron of the school, leading to their renaming as St. Helena’s Catholic Primary School.

Over the years, their school has witnessed remarkable growth, and their student body now thrives with over 500 students spanning from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. St. Helena’s continues to stand as a beacon of educational excellence, providing a steadfast commitment to fostering the holistic development of each student by maintaining a nurturing and supportive environment that bolsters their sense of self-worth, enthusiasm, and an enduring optimism for future learning and exploration.
